Theory of Everything?

Garret Lisi may have found an elegant way to explain how to integrate gravity with electromagnetism, the strong force (which binds protons together in the atomic nucleus), and the weak force (which controls radioactive decay), using an eight dimensional geometric lattice structure called E8. The math is much simpler than the string theory that's been promoted recently -- and doesn't require alternative universes.
