What happens when we confuse the created and the Creator

"Among other things Howard Dean has now become an authority on God. The other day he suggested that since God created homosexuals he could not condemn homosexual behavior. Of course, if one follows that same line of logic, God also cannot condemn murder, adultery, bestiality, lying, cheating and stealing because he created creatures who indulge in those sorts of behaviors.
